"Looksmaxxing" influencer Connor Murphy has died in Thailand at the age of 32.
Connor, who had 2.6 million followers across Instagram and YouTube, was exhibiting erratic behavior while returning by taxi to a luxury residential complex on Tuesday. He reportedly attempted to get into another vehicle, but the driver refused to take him due to his demeanor; this caused him to enter a state of aggressive agitation and begin shouting without provocation. Neighbors called the police due to the disturbance; upon the officers' arrival, Connor reportedly fled through the complex and jumped into a lake, where he swam until he apparently became exhausted and drowned.
Divers from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation recovered his body from a depth of approximately six meters.
Police investigation:
The police report indicates that his rented home was covered in paint splatters and that authorities from the Bang Phli police station found two unused syringes and unidentified white pills in his vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
Connor rose to fame in the mid-2010s on YouTube, where he shared content related to bodybuilding and fitness. He described himself as a "Giga Chad"—a term referring to a self-confident man in peak physical condition.

Connor contaba con 2,6 millones de seguidores entre Instagram y YouTube, mostraba un comportamiento errático al regresar en taxi a una urbanización de lujo el martes. Supuestamente intentó subir a otro vehículo, pero el conductor se negó a llevarlo debido a su actitud, lo que provocó que entre en un estado de agitación agresiva y sin motivo se puso a gritar. Ante el escándalo los vecinos llamaron a la policía; a la llegada de los agentes, Connor habría huido por la urbanización y saltó a un lago, donde nadó hasta que, al parecer, se agotó y se ahogó.
Buzos de la Fundación Poh Teck Tung encontaron su cuerpo a unos seis metros de profundidad.
La investigación policial:
El informe policial indica que la casa que tenía alquilada estaba llena de salpicaduras de pintura y que las autoridades de la comisaría de Bang Phli hallaron dos jeringuillas sin usar en su vehículo, así como unas pastillas blancas no identificadas.

InstagramとYouTubeで計260万人のフォロワーを抱えていたコナー氏は、火曜日、タクシーで高級住宅街にある自宅へ戻る途中に常軌を逸した行動を見せていた。伝えられるところによれば、彼は別の車に乗り込もうとしたものの、その様子から運転手に乗車を拒否された。これに激昂した彼は攻撃的な状態となり、何ら挑発されることなく大声を上げ始めたという。騒ぎを受けて近隣住民が警察に通報。警察官が到着すると、コナー氏は敷地内を逃走して湖に飛び込み、泳いでいるうちに力尽き、溺死したとみられている。
