Iran announced that it had launched drones against two U.S. military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain in response to recent U.S. airstrikes on Iranian territory, according to Iranian state television.

Tehran simultaneously escalated its rhetoric toward Washington. Iran's Khatam al Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that any further act of "aggression, intimidation or barbarism" by the United States would be met with a "decisive and devastating" response from the Iranian Armed Forces, as military tensions between the two countries continue to rise.

In a statement carried by the Tasnim news agency, the headquarters' commander, Major General Ali Abdolahi, said that "any act of ambition, intimidation, totalitarianism and barbarism will face a decisive and devastating response," adding that national unity would be essential in confronting what he again described as the United States, the "Great Satan."

En paralelo, Teherán intensificó su retórica contra Washington. El Cuartel General Central Jatam al Anbiya advirtió que cualquier nueva acción de "agresión, intimidación o barbarie" por parte de Estados Unidos recibirá una respuesta "contundente y devastadora" de las Fuerzas Armadas iraníes, en medio de la creciente tensión militar entre ambos países.

En un comunicado difundido por la agencia Tasnim, el comandante del organismo, general de división Alí Abdolahi, afirmó que "cualquier acto de ambición, intimidación, totalitarismo y barbarie se enfrentará a una respuesta contundente y devastadora" y sostuvo que la cohesión interna será determinante para enfrentar a Estados Unidos, al que volvió a calificar como el "Gran Satán".
