BARCELONA. May 22 (International Consortium of Journalists JMH) - Artist Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, known globally as Bad Bunny, suffered bullying at school in his native Puerto Rico, before becoming a music star.
Bad Bunny's bullying:
"When Bad Bunny was not yet the singer who today mobilizes crowds and sweeps the Grammy Awards, he was Benito; a boy who was bullied in primary school and high school for his physical appearance and his introverted personality. While he was studying in Vega Baja he was a shy, skinny boy with different tastes, which made him the target of ridicule. Bullying has as many causes as there are people who carry it out. So in Benito's case perhaps it had its origin in being thin like in others It would be for being fat and so on ad infinitum. BARCELONA. Mayo 22 (Consorcio Internacional de Periodistas JMH) - El artista Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, conocido globalmente como Bad Bunny sufrió bullying en la escuela en su Puerto Rico natal, antes de convertirse en una estrella de la música.
El acoso escolar a Bad Bunny:
"Cuando Bad Bunny no era aún el cantante que hoy moviliza multitudes y arrasa en los Premios Grammy, era Benito; un chico que era hostigado en la escuela primaria y en el secundario por su apariencia física y su personalidad introvertida. Mientras cursaba sus estudios en Vega Baja era un chico tímido, flacucho y con gustos diferentes, lo que lo convirtió en blanco de burlas. El bullying tiene tantas causas como personas que lo llevan adelante. Así que en el caso de Benito tal vez tenía su origen en ser delgado como en otros sería por ser gordo y así hasta el infinito. Lo esencial de la situación y lo queremos poner de manifiesto desde la Organización Mundial Bullying Sin Fronteras, es que Bad Bunny se repuso del bullying y siguió adelante e incluso logró transformar esa narrativa y esa violencia escolar inspirando a jóvenes que hoy se sienten excluidos o fuera de lugar a sentirse orgullosos de sí mismos, de sus raíces y de su estilo. Es necesario manifestar que Benito Bad Bunny es el primer artista de América Latina que ha logrado reconocimiento mundial, entre ellos ser laureado con el Premio Grammy al Albúm del Año; cantando únicamente en español en 'Debí tirar más fotos'.
