Sin justicia para Ian Cabrera en Argentina. La ley 27.801 dejará impune al asesino.

La Ley 27.801, promulgada en marzo de 2026, establece el nuevo Régimen Penal Juvenil en Argentina para adolescentes de 14 a 17 años. Esta norma, que deroga la ley anterior (22.278), baja la edad de imputabilidad a 14 años para todo tipo de delitos.

Sin embargo comenzará a regir 180 días después de su publicación en el Boletín Oficial, situación que ocurrirá en septiembre de 2026.

A casi una semana del tiroteo ocurrido en una escuela de San Cristóbal, Santa Fe, la investigación avanza con nuevas pruebas y elementos que apuntan a una posible planificación del ataque. Sin embargo, el adolescente acusado no podrá ser juzgado porque es inimputable.

El hecho ocurrió el lunes 30 de marzo en la Escuela Nº40, cuando Gino C., de 15 años, ingresó al establecimiento con una escopeta. Según la reconstrucción del caso, el adolescente gritó “¡Sorpresa!” antes de disparar contra sus compañeros. Como consecuencia del ataque, murió Ian Cabrera y otros ocho alumnos resultaron heridos.

Law 27.801, enacted in March 2026, establishes the new Juvenile Criminal Code in Argentina for adolescents aged 14 to 17. This law, which repeals the previous law (22.278), lowers the age of criminal responsibility to 14 for all types of crimes.
