The World Organization Bullying Without Borders confirms that Argentina is experiencing a dangerous wave of viral challenges linked to school shootings. The message is always the same: "Shooting tomorrow, don't come." Following posts on Facebook and Instagram, makeshift posters and graffiti appeared at 12 educational institutions in five provinces of the South American country.
The background to the Santa Fe shooting: Argentina is still reeling from the tragedy that unfolded in San Cristóbal, Santa Fe Province, about 400 kilometers from Buenos Aires, when a 15-year-old student took his grandfather's shotgun to the Mariano Moreno school, one of the best-known in the area, and opened fire, killing a 13-year-old classmate in retaliation for alleged bullying he had been suffering. The 13-year-old boy, Ian Cabrera, was a completely innocent victim and did not even know the attacker.
The courts in various provincial jurisdictions, including the City of Buenos Aires, are investigating this situation, which so far has only resulted in threats of a possible violent incident in the school setting.

La Organización Bullying Sin Fronteras confirma que en Argentina hay una peligrosa ola de retos virales ligados a tiroteos en escuelas. El mensaje siempre es el mismo: "Mañana, tiroteo, no vengan". Luego de publicaciones en Facebook e Instagram surgieron improvisado carteles y pintadas en 12 instituciones educativas de cinco provincias del país Austral.
El antecedente del tiroteo en Santa Fe:
Argentina todavía no sale de su asombro por la tragedia desplegada en San Cristóbal, Provincia de Santa Fe a unos 400 kilómetros de Buenos Aires cuando un estudiante de 15 años fue con la escopeta del abuela a la escuela Mariano Moreno, una de las más conocidas en la zona y abrió fuego matando a un compañero de 13 en represalia por un presunto bullying que venía sufriendo. El chico de 13, Ian Cabrera, resultó una víctima completamente inocente y ni conocía al atacante.
La justicia de las distintas jurisdicciones provinciales, incluida la justicia de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires están investigando esta situación que hasta el momento no ha pasado de ser amenazas de un posible hecho violento en el ámbito escolar.
