Nine people have been arrested in connection with the lynching of Quentin Deranque, including Jacques-Élie Favrot, parliamentary advisor to LFI deputy Raphaël Arnault.

The group consists of seven men and two women, all young.

The detainees are being held accountable for their roles:

Judicial sources told the JMH Consulting firm that six of those arrested were directly involved in Quentin's death, while the other three provided support for the homicide.

Forensic evidence: 

Dozens of witnesses testified before the Lyon Prosecutor's Office, and security camera footage from the area where Quentin was killed, as well as phone records, were reviewed.

The investigation is proceeding around the clock:

Prosecutor Thierry Dran stated that five of the suspects were arrested Tuesday morning, and the other four were arrested Tuesday evening.
