La Justicia de Córdoba confirmó a la Consultora Internacional Javier Miglino y Asociados que se dictó la prisión preventiva a Pablo Laurta por el doble femicidio de la mamá y de la abuela de su hijo, indicaron fuentes judiciales. El doble asesino permanece detenido en la cárcel de Cruz del Eje.

La Fiscalía de Instrucción de Violencia de Género y Familiar de Segundo Turno, a cargo de Gerardo Reyes, dispuso que siga preso.

Reyes lo considera autor de los delitos de homicidio calificado por alevosía y violencia de género y violación de domicilio en perjuicio de su ex pareja Luna Giardina y la madre de la mujer, Mariel Zamudio. El asesino uruguayo también está imputado en Entre Ríos por el homicidio del remisero Martín Sebastián Palacio, cuyo cuerpo, sin cabeza, brazos y parte de las piernas, fue encontrado en la zona de Colonia Yeruá. En ese caso interviene la fiscal Daniela Montangie, el defensor oficial José Luis Legarreta y la jueza de Garantías Gabriela Seró.

La magistrada indagó al acusado, que se negó a declarar. Luego le dictó prisión preventiva por cuatro meses y habilitó su traslado a Córdoba. En la provincia mediterránea quedó preso y enfrenta la imputación por el doble femicidio. Y ahora dispusieron que siga preso.

El triple asesino.

Los crímenes se consumaron el 8 de octubre, cuando Laurta se apareció en la vivienda de las mujeres, con la intención de llevarse al hijo que tuvo con Giardina.

Tras el crimen, Laurta, quien había sido denunciado en reiteradas ocasiones por acoso y hostigamiento por parte de su ex pareja, se dio a la fuga llevándose consigo a su hijo menor. La reacción de la Justicia fue inmediata: se activó el Alerta Sofía, lo que permitió ampliar el operativo de búsqueda a distintas provincias.

De esta forma, se logró la localización del sospechoso en el Hotel Berlín de Gualeguaychú. En un operativo conjunto realizado por agentes de las policías de Córdoba y Entre Ríos, se pudo rescatar al niño de cinco años en buen estado de salud. Asimismo, el principal sospechoso fue reducido y aprehendido en el lugar.

Al momento de ser detenido, el asesino Laurta tenía la billetera con los documentos del remisero asesinado, de apellido Palacio, el coche de alquiler apareció quemado en Córdoba.

Con todo esto, Laurta habría matado a Palacio primero, lo desmembró y dejó los restos en diferentes partes. Luego, quemó su coche y cometió los femicidios. Huyó con su hijo en taxi rumbo a Entre Ríos con la idea de escapar cruzando el río Uruguay ilegalmente y de ahí seguir viaje a Israel.

Por fortuna fue atrapado antes.

A graduate in Communication Sciences from ORT University, part of the Jewish community of Uruguay, he killed the mother of his child, his mother-in-law, and an Uber driver in Argentina.

The Córdoba court confirmed to the international consulting firm Javier Miglino & Associates that Pablo Laurta has been ordered to pretrial detention for the double femicide of his child's mother and grandmother, according to judicial sources. The double murderer remains in custody at the Cruz del Eje prison.

The Second Shift Prosecutor's Office for Gender and Domestic Violence, headed by Gerardo Reyes, ordered that he remain in custody.

Reyes considers him responsible for the crimes of aggravated homicide with premeditation and gender-based violence, as well as trespassing, against his ex-partner Luna Giardina and her mother, Mariel Zamudio. The Uruguayan killer is also charged in Entre Ríos with the murder of taxi driver Martín Sebastián Palacio, whose headless, armless, and partially leg-decapitated body was found in the Colonia Yeruá area. In that case, prosecutor Daniela Montangie, public defender José Luis Legarreta, and Judge Gabriela Seró are handling the case.

The judge questioned the accused, who refused to testify. She then ordered him held in pretrial detention for four months and authorized his transfer to Córdoba. He was imprisoned in the central province and faces charges for the double femicide. And now, the court has ordered that he remain in custody.

The crimes were committed on October 8, when Laurta appeared at the women's home, intending to take the son he had with Giardina.

After the murder, Laurta, who had been repeatedly reported by his ex-partner for harassment and stalking, fled with his young son. The justice system reacted immediately: the Sofía Alert was activated, allowing the search operation to be expanded to several provinces.

This led to the suspect's location at the Hotel Berlín in Gualeguaychú. In a joint operation carried out by police officers from Córdoba and Entre Ríos, the five-year-old boy was rescued in good health. The main suspect was subdued and apprehended at the scene.

At the time of his arrest, Laurta, the killer, was carrying the wallet containing the documents of the murdered taxi driver, surnamed Palacio. The taxi was later found burned in Córdoba.

With all this, Laurta allegedly killed Palacio first, dismembered him, and scattered the remains in different locations. Then, she burned her car and committed the femicides. She fled with her son in a taxi toward Entre Ríos, intending to escape by illegally crossing the Uruguay River and then continue her journey to Israel.

Fortunately, she was apprehended before she could reach her destination.
